Book A Stay in the Hotels in Boten!
Boten
currently hosts a few large budget hotels, though more high-end accommodation
is on the rise in the Central Business District (CBD). Most of those open in
2020 are located near the border and in the Dining District, and all are suitable for
businesspeople, families, and tourists. You’ll also find the more upscale Jing
Land Hotel about 30 km south of Boten on Highway 3 to Luang Namtha Town.
The Sheng
Hui Hotel sits less than 1-km from the border, just off Highway 13. The
sizeable, 4-storey hotel features clean and comfortable rooms with air-con, TV,
Wi-Fi and other amenities, along with parking and business facilities. A coffee
shop offers a small menu of mostly Sichuan dishes, while the lobby has a snack
shop.
Three
similar hotels stand along Luang Namtha Road with some rooms presenting views
of the forest. Furthest north on the road, your find the 5-storey Sirui
Hotel that faces the forest, and is within walking distance of a row of
small Sichuan restaurants and the Bangkok Pub & Restaurant.
The smaller
Jinda Hotel sits next door, and presents similar forest views. Further
down the road, and across from the Lao Immigration and Customs Office, the Ban
Sao Hotel is tucked behind a more commercial area, but stands right at the
forest’s rim, and is just a short walk to the heart of the Dining District.
The 468-room Jing
Land Hotel rises 13 floors above the junction of Highways 13 and 3, just
south of Boten, and offers a shuttle service and free breakfast. The property
features seven room types from Standard and Deluxe to Suites, Family Rooms, and
Triple Rooms, all with free Wi-Fi, flat-screen TVs, and a range of amenities.
Guests can choose from four restaurants, barbecue facilities, room service and
a fully stocked bar. The lobby presents shops, a ticketing desk, and concierge
service.
